The challenge in Licensing basically consists of translating a brand onto consumer products,
The challenge in Licensing basically consists of translating a brand onto consumer products, especially ones not commonly found on display. That allows the brand to create new POCs (points of contact) with its consumers.
For this project with BBC, we started by getting to know the brand profoundly, its many ingredients, how it’s consumed and its relation with its birthplace, Colombia. Additionally, we researched graphical and consumer trends, artistic styles and new materials that would guide our concepts: “Manifiesto BBC” and “El Igrediente es la Grandeza”
For each one of these concepts, we created various assets and products within categories like apparel, home and accessories. After many comings and goings, we came out with some killer final design pieces.
